From day hikes to basecamps: The hiking and camping essentials checklist

Hiking or camping under the stars for a weekend getaway is an all-time favourite of mine. Having been on a few in my time, I can tell you there’s a big difference when you bring the right equipment and adventure comforts.

Of course, there is the ‘all hype’ gear and then there is the actual stuff worth bringing. Here’s what’s on my list and why.
